What does growth really cost if you run it in-house? More than the salaries you're quoting. Here's the full math.
Start with benefits. US federal data puts them at about 30% of total compensation. So every salary you quote is only about 70% of what a hire really costs.
Now model a realistic part-time team across the seven roles a growth engine needs, plus wire releases and infrastructure. That's about $220,000 a year. VayoMed's published package is 24,000.
But most companies never spend that. They hand out fragments of the work, and nobody owns how the pieces fit together.
Three checks before you budget. One: divide every salary by 0.699. Two: flag any role under 0.15 of a full-time job. Three: name who owns coordination, and price their time.
Count the whole cost. Then decide.
