Does AI recommend your company? When a buyer asks for the best ultrasound machines, the answer is a short list. So who makes it, and why?
We looked at one stored AI Recommends report for best ultrasound machines, from June 2026. 14 names made the list. Only one was named by all four AI models. Five came from just one model.
So a short AI list is not a market ranking. It's a dated snapshot, built from a handful of answers. Different models name different companies.
And what do those answers cite? Across 40 category questions, about one citation in eight pointed to a recommended brand's own website. The rest came from other pages.
So focus on what you control. One: name the cleared product on your site. Two: keep your company facts consistent everywhere. Three: track dated AI answers, not screenshots.
Don't chase the list. Build the pages it cites.
